Retired taxi driver Jack Tracey, 65, collapsed and suffered a near-fatal heart attack as he paid his respects at a friend’s funeral.
However his life was saved after former ambulance control operator - turned undertaker - Rai Hirst, rushed to Jack’s aid. He said: “I remember getting out of the car and locking it, and I remember everything went black and I said ‘oh shit’ and went down like a sack of potatoes.“I felt my legs go. I thought this was it, I was going to die.
