UPDATED - Man charged after Lupset stabbing drama

A man will appear in court tomorrow (Friday) charged with attempted murder following a stabbing.
Armed police, the police helicopter and paramedics were called to a property on Greaves Avenue, Lupset, at around 6.10pm on Tuesday.
Around 20 officers attended the scene.
A 36-year-old man, who had been stabbed, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance with serious injuries.

Ainars Vitolnieks, 26, from Wakefield, has been charged with attempted murder.
He is due to appear before magistrates at Wakefield and Pontefract Magistrates’ Court, in Wakefield this morning (Friday).
