Cyclist hurt in rush hour crash

A CYCLIST was injured when they were hit by a vehicle during the morning rush hour today (Monday).
Traffic on Chapeltown Road was disrupted when emergency services were called after the cyclist was in collision with a vehicle at the junction with Louis Street, next to the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, at 8.44am.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the cyclist’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, and the road was cleared by around 9.20am.
