Arrests made as armed police swoop on car in Leeds

Two men are being held in custody today after armed police stopped a car in Leeds.
Firearms officers stopped the car at the junction of Roundhay Road and Roseville Road in Burmantofts.
A police spokesman said they had arrested two men on suspicion of a firearms offence.

Hide AdHe said: "It relates to an investigation into an incident in Roseville Road on August 22 where a man reported being threatened with a gun.
"The two men, aged 30 and 39, remain in custody at this time and enquiries are ongoing."
