Hunslet boss Coyle wants to see more
Hunslet are on a two-game winning run after a 34-0 victory over Coventry Bears in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup and last week’s 10-6 success against University of Gloucestershire All Golds which kicked off their league campaign. They were contrasting performances and Coyle said: “We played a bit better rugby against Coventry.
“We wanted to improve on that last weekend, but – because of the conditions – we couldn’t really read too much into whether we improved our skill level and execution.

“We had to close the game out and it was good to see we were able to do that. Hopefully the conditions are better this week, but is is not a massive pitch and that is going to challenge our skill a bit.
“We will have to be better than we have been in the last two games. We want to improve every week anyway and that’s our goal for Sunday.”
Coyle is confident Hunslet will get better as the weather improves and pitches dry out.

“But we’ve got some exciting players and we want to play rugby. When we get some dry tracks we’ll be able to play more football and you’ll probably see the best out of this side.”
