The forecast is bright for Leeds United for both Sunday afternoon's Elland Road showdown against Fulham and the season as a whole, just.

Fifth-bottom Leeds have now gone seven games without a victory, five of which have ended in defeat, but the bookmakers expect Jesse Marsch's Whites to finally savour that winning feeling against Fulham. Leeds are firm favourites to take all three points from Sunday’s 2pm kick-off and no bigger than 10-9 and as short as 19-20 with Sky Bet.

The draw is on offer at 14-5 and Marco Silva's ninth-placed visitors can be backed at 11-4, despite hotshot striker Aleksandar Mitrovic heading the first scorer market at 9-2. Whites duo Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo are then both 6-1, followed by Joe Gelhardt and Willy Gnonto who are both 7s and then Luis Sinisterra at 15-2.Jack Harrison can be backed at 10s, a bigger price than Sam Greenwood (9s) whilst Crysencio Summerville and Brenden Aaronson are both 12s. Carlos Vinicius (8s), Harry Wilson (11s), Bobby Decordova-Reid (12s), Nesskens Kebano (14s) and Willian (17s) are rated other main threats for Fulham for whom Whites loanee Dan James is unable to play due to the terms of his loan deal.

Longer term, both Fulham and Leeds are expected to seal Premier League survival though it's getting pretty close for the Whites and a poor result on Sunday would probably see them tipped to go down. Nottingham Forest remain favourites for the drop but now out to 8-15 after beating Liverpool, followed by Bournemouth (4-6) and then Leicester City (11-4) but there's very little in it as far as predictions for the third and final relegation spot is concerned.

Wolves are only a fractionally bigger price than Leicester at 56-19 and the same goes for Southampton (3s) and Leeds (16-5), who, on the basis of the current market, are expected to finish 15th. Aston Villa are not far behind at 4s and ditto Everton (9-2) and Fulham (5s). Brentford are as big as 11s, followed by Crystal Palace at 16s and then both Brighton and West Ham who are 33-1 each.
