Managerial latest

Football Insider have reported that Jesse Marsch is still on ‘shaky ground’ despite the recent positive results. The American was feeling the heat after a tough start to the season but has inspired the team to some big wins recently. The Whites are 12th in the table and have picked up 15 points from their first 13 outings.

Urged to sign full-back

Leeds have been urged to sign Borussia Dortmund left-back Raphaël Guerreiro in January. The Portugal is said to be on the club’s radar according to a report by TEAMtalk earlier this month. Journalist Pete O’Rourke believes he would be an ideal acquisition and has told GiveMeSport: “I think he would be a huge upgrade for Leeds at left-back, which has been a real problem position for them for the last couple of seasons. If they’re able to lure Raphael Guerreiro to Elland Road, I think it’d be a real coup for the club.”

Bielsa update

Former Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa is being linked with a surprise move to Bournemouth. The Argentinian boss has been available since his departure from Elland Road earlier this year. According to a report by The Athletic, the Cherries are ‘exploring’ a move for him now.
