Young pair Joe Gelhardt and Cody Drameh both start as Whites boss Jesse Marsch makes two changes to his Leeds United side for Saturday afternoon’s Premier League clash at Brentford.

Right back Drameh comes into the side for just his second Whites league start to replace Rasmus Kristensen who is with the squad but fails to make the bench having picked up a knock in training.

The Dane is expected to be fine for the subsequent home clash against Nottingham Forest next Monday night.

Leeds also lost the services of Spanish international striker Rodrigo during the first half of Tuesday night’s clash against Everton at Elland Road after the forward dislocated his shoulder.

Gelhardt replaced Rodrigo as a substitute in the 32nd minute against the Toffees and now comes into the side for what is still only his sixth Whites league start.

Fellow striker Patrick Bamford returned from his recent groin injury when eventually replacing Gelhardt in the second half of the midweek clash against the Toffees.

Bamford is once again on the bench where there are also places for captain Liam Cooper and Luke Ayling upon their returns to training this week after their respective injuries.

Stuart Dallas remains a long-term absentee as he recovers from a femoral fracture.

The Whites are now without Dan James who has joined Fulham on a season-long loan whilst new striker arrival Wilfried Gnonto only signed late on Thursday evening and is not involved.

Bees boss Thomas Frank has made one change to his side as former Leeds defender and now Brentford captain returns from a minor foot injury to replace Zanka at centre-back.
