The snow fell hard across Leeds on December 1, and further snowfalls happened from there, causing traffic problems and snow days for school kids. Remember this?

The storm was the UK's earliest winter snowfall since 1993, with snow falling as early as November 24 in some areas. On December 1, a massive 30cm snowfall was recorded in Leeds.

But it wasn't all bad news! Kids and parents flocked to parks to enjoy the white stuff

It was even a good day for snowboarding, with thick blankets of snow turning Leeds into an extreme sports hotspot, even for just a few days

On the morning of 3 December a minimum of -19.0°C was recorded at RAF Topcliffe in North Yorkshire and at RAF Leeming -17.9°C was recorded - some of the coldest temperatures in years.
