Train death shuts West Yorkshire train station
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Dewsbury Train Station just before 12.30pm today (August 20) after reports that a man had been struck by a train travelling through the station.
A spokeswoman for British Transport Police told the YEP that the train involved was the 10.48am Scarborough to Liverpool Lime Street TransPennine Express service and that at this point the death was not being treated as suspicious.
