The 'Leeds Warrior' Josh Warrington fulfilled his dream and claimed the IBF world featherweight title in 2018 at his beloved Elland Road.

The artwork features the quote "I wanted to put Leeds on the map".

Warrington has always been Leeds and proud and saw himself as giving sports fans in the city some hope in the years when Leeds United fell on hard times.

He said: "The mural is massive to me, it's like sort of a reward for all the hard work and trying to represent the city.

"I hope it can inspire people when they drive past it and just remind themselves that Josh Warrington was just a lad off the local council estate who went on to world title glories and beyond that.

"Hopefully it inspires many generations to come."

The mural has been created to celebrate Warrington's new partnership with urban streetwear brand 11 Degrees Clothing.
