Driver arrested after car crash in Leeds city centre

A driver has been arrested after a car crash in Leeds city centre.

The crash on Leighton Street was reported to police at around 9.30pm last night (Monday).

There was one vehicle involved and the crash caused minor injuries.

The driver was arrested for failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "The road traffic collision was a one vehicle minor injury collision.

"It was reported on Leighton street at 21.36.

"The driver was arrested for failing to provide."
