A road has been closed by police after a cyclist was hit by a vehicle.

York Road in the city centre has been closed following the crash.

Police were called shortly before 5.30pm to the incident.

A spokesperson said the crash involved a cyclist and a vehicle.

At least 12 bus services have been diverted.

The number 4, 4G, 16, 16A, 19, 19A, 40, 49, 50, 50A, 56 & X56 services will divert via Marsh Lane & Duke Street.
