A primary school in Leeds has been forced to close until February after its caretaker and eleven other members of staff tested positive for Covid.

St Peter’s Church of England Primary School on Cromwell Street has closed its doors to all students until February 1, it has been announced.

In a letter home to parents posted on the school's website, headteacher Elizabeth Holliday said a total of 12 staff members and seven pupils had tested positive for the virus.
