Another money spinning move by the police force...lets have lots of men on duty sir... lets get lots of overtime in sir... if people want a rook they don't need beers...

Pathetic as usual. It's a Noon kick off. What is the point in closing pubs in Doncaster? I could understand it more so against certain rivals but it just seems like another excuse for the police to earn overtime and justify their existence.
Besides, we have arranged a breakfast trip and will undoubtedly drink more than we would have done if Kick Off had been at three o'clock!
Pathetic policing from people who were bullied at school!!

I think it is a complete over reaction which the local hostelries will pay for financially

Earlier this season when we played Bournmouth, at the end of the game police in riot gear with dogs lined the pitch to the amusement of everybody were met with chants of "what a waste of money"

Doncaster know there are going to be problems on Saturday they average 7000 gates give Leeds a poxy 3000 for a 15000 seater stadium. Why didnt they give Leeds 5000 tickets, and also why dont Leeds reward the loyal fans who have been going years with a chance to get tickets. Apparantly all 3000 tickets were gone in 10 minutes to anyone on a 1st come 1st serve basis, surely a check of membership niumbers they can work out the loyal fans. NO doubt Ken Bates will be moaning along with everyone else if a disaster happens on Saturday. Get your acts together the powers that be, a couple of pints before the game wont do any harm. Regards

The majority of football fans have to work all week, and going for a couple of drinks before a match is a time honoured tradition, and also a gives fans a chance to socialise with each other and catch up with friends they maybe don't get to see apart from at the football. Why should everyone else be penalised just because some so-called 'Men' can't handle their drink. This kind of ridiculous ruling is the reason I've applied for a visa to go and live in another country, whats next? A ban on singing at football matches?????
