The quickest way in which the so called cash strapped local authority can save money is to stop payng Coucillors a salary and rediculous special responsability payments.
If our local representatives are performing their duties for the right motives this should not be an issue. The cost of the councillor gravy train is nearly two milliion pounds a year.
Enough is enough-stop this madness,it's public money being thrown around.
