A Leeds school was left shocked after vandals caused hundreds of pounds of damage back in 1978.

October 2, 1978: Osmondthorpe Primary School, Leeds Coun Martin Dodgson, visited the school. He said: “This is the first time I have been to a school so soon after the vandals have been and I shall certainly be reporting back to the council on the mess they made.” The damage was discovered early today by caretaker William Sice.
