@kelsalldan. If you’re in town, gotta be Riveresque.

@tweeonie. #leedsrecommends @TheWellMeanwood amazing veggie breakfast. Seriously good.

@superkos. The Queens in Chapel Allerton. Great portions, food constantly kept fresh by the chef and real nice polite staff.

@CharlesHeslett. The Corner House Cafe, 172 Tong Road – bread cakes so soft you could use them as pillows! Cheap too. #FullEnglish

@alisonleason. Harvester in Kirkstall, made fresh, good selection, only £5. And you can help yourself to a continental at no extra cost.

@fussy25. @The_Greedy_Pig- best breakfast pancakes I’ve ever had! Fluffy, generous & good quality bacon.

@martyn1789. @GreasyPigLeeds is by far the best breakfasts in Leeds. Portion size, quality, friendly staff & welcoming atmosphere!

@ARCDM. Sizzling hot breakfasts at The True Briton in #Leeds, 100%. Unlimited tea and coffee for £1 too.

@raywolst. Unfortunately the best breakfast is not in Leeds it’s in #sheffieldissuper

@NeonGraduate. Has to be Riveresque Cafe, Leeds Bridge. Awesome food and great staff! #leedsrecommends

@Adam_rhinos. Definitely @tobycarvery Oulton. All you can eat, no bother!

@sharpetonys. Harvester again. This time White Rose on Dewsbury Road. #allyoucaneat

Facebook responses included:

Karen Linstrum. No place like ya own home

Jackie Meston. Bean On The Run, Fish Street, Leeds city centre. Amazing food and great value for money & the staff are fab.

Ali Ward. Emmaus Leeds on St Mary’s Street. Excellent value for money and supporting homelessness.

Adele Lynch. David Street cafe in Beeston.

Anthony Newton. Toby Carvery breakfast at Oulton. £4. All you can eat.

Tracey Dixon. Always my own home. There, no one minds if you want two eggs instead of one, or if you want twice as many mushrooms as a normal full English. And no-one asks “what’s the point” if you want it with Quorn bacon and sausages instead of decaying flesh!

Steven Batty. Red Bus on A64. Always stop there to fuel up before a run to Scarborough.

Steven Scally Wheatley. Coopers Cafe on Compton Road.

Claire Riley. The Greedy Pig on North Street

Stuart Rhino. Parker Riveresque and greedy pig.

David Cave. Daniel’s Cafe, Bramley!

Kath Mardle. All you can eat Full English in the Toby Carvery!

Craig Edward Turnbull. Home but I’m a sucker for Pavillion on Dewsbury Road or Captains Table in LS9.

Anjie McChesney. Well it was the Pine Cafe in Leeds Kirkgate Market before the council decided to shut down that part of the market! Disgraceful! And because for the price the quality (and quantity) was second to none! And the staff were so lovely.

Crag Apple. Coopers in Harehills.

Caroline Wilkinson. Daniels Cafe, Bramley.
