LUFC Supporter ‏@LUFCSupporter. @AndyHutchYPN Got married at Devonshire Hall & loved it. Part of Leeds Uni so only available in summer but a real hidden gem of a building!

LUFC Supporter ‏@LUFCSupporter. @AndyHutchYPN We actually got married at a church, but reception was at Devonshire which is what I assume you were alluding to!

Daniel Gill ‏@DineeventsMD. @AndyHutchYPN Hi Andy, Dine at The Mansion is a great venue. Great food & service and in the heart of Leeds’ award-winning Roundhay park.

The Queens ‏@TheQueensQ. @stoneslufc @AndyHutchYPN Wow. Fantastic pictures. #lovinLeeds

Responses via facebook include:

Georgina Nuttall. Headingley Carnegie. We got married there in November and it was perfect. Brilliantly organised, food was amazing, photos allowed all round stadium and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone.

Emma Gallagher. Malmaison hotel, beautiful venue for those wanting a intimate and special day.

Kirsty Grundy. Haleys hotel in headingley. It was perfect size and setting for our wedding (40 guests) and their Yorkshire pudding starter was amazing!

Margaret Thompson. We went to a gorgeous do at Woodlands, Gelderd Road at the weekend. Staff super, setting amazing - certainly would recommend it!

Melvin Moore. The Irish Centre. They really pull out all the stops to make your perfect day. And don’t cost anything like the cost of all the posh hotels.

Suggestions continue to pour in from the #leedsrecommends community on the best places in Leeds for a pub lunch. Latest responses include:

Susie Legweak. Town Hall Tavern! Slightly more “upmarket” pub fodder, more gastropub style fare I suppose. That and the fact it’s an absolutely lovely pub with great beers and good staff.

Chris McNeil. West End House, Kirkstall.
