Chris Vessey @ChrisVesseyCUFC. @LeedsNews @ReporterLucinda Anywhere along Leeds Liverpool Canal!

Chris Oxley @ChrisOxleyYEP. @ReporterLucinda By road, the countryside on ride from Lofthouse to Methley and South of Rothwell is very nice and relatively traffic-free.

Chris Cunliffe @AddledAdder. @ReporterLucinda Can’t recommend anywhere in Leeds to cycle, except perhaps the Leeds Liverpool canal and Eccup Moor Road due to road traffic.

Responses via Facebook include:

Ash Scarth. Trans Pennine Trail - Leeds to Hadfield.

Rob Hick. Head out from the railway station in a straight line to Swillington then follow that heading for 300 miles until you reach Utrecht.

Steve Jones. Through the Harewood estate and near Eccup resevoir, peaceful and relatively traffic-free.

Daron Healy. Honley to Brockholes then New Mill. Holmfirth then on to Holme Moss.

Jason Aaron Forrest. Obviously going over Otley Chevin. It was good enough for #LeTour!!!!! And good enough for both the Brownlee brothers AND Lizzie!!!!!

Chris Vessey. Definitely Leeds-Liverpool Canal, starting from town and out towards Skipton. It’s a beautiful ride on a nice day!

Martyn Smith. Between Leeds and Bradford surely.
