Jennifer Griffin. Nina’s in Swillington has to be the best cafe in Yorkshire! Staff will cater for any needs or dietary requirements. Very friendly. All in all the best.

Angela Hargreaves. Yorkshire Crust in Leeds 16. All fresh and locally produced food, none of the horrible greasy spoon cafe rubbish.

Richard Edwards. Only Food and Sauces on Dewsbury Road. Bacon is not the usual soggy, fatty mess but firm and crispy. Black pudding is moist and a far cry from the dried-out hockey pucks you get in many places. Not a huge place but very popular with builders, and they should know about starting the day with a good fry-up.

Tim Choat. I recently went to Emmaus charity shop and they had a cafe inside, I think it is run by homeless people. The breakfast there was amazing, I got the small one but still lots to eat!

Nichola Stanhope. St George’s Cafe in Middleton. Best fry-up and they do lots for the local community. Can’t recommend enough.

Gavin Burton. The Pink Teapot in Otley for butties and Leeds House in Otley for full brekkie.
