IT proved to be a huge hit last year and now it’s back with a bang.

Leeds Indie Food Festival has announced it will be returning in 2016, with priority tickets on sale now.

The city-wide festival aims to celebrate Leeds’s independent food and drink industry and will run from May 12 to 30, 2016.

Events will be held across the city from wine tasting to foodie film screenings.

This year’s festival saw more than 100 businesses take part, from coffee shops to craft beer bars.

Highlights included a mystery bus tour by North Bar, an edible art show at Munro House and a two-day closing party at The Tetley.

Organisers say next year’s festival will be bigger and better, with details of what’s to come to be revealed closer to the time.

It’s incredible how much Leeds’s food scene has grown even in the space of a year, and we’re excited to see what new events are in the pipeline for next year’s event.
