GARY McALLISTER has sent Leeds United's fringe players away on holiday after admitting he knows his starting line-up for tomorrow's play-off semi-final first leg with Carlisle United.
Ian Westlake and Matt Heath have returned to Elland Road from loan spells with Brighton and Colchester respectively, but McAllister will keep faith with the players who have carried Leeds through his short reign at Elland Road for the League One play-offs.
The manager said his team for tomorrow night's first leg in Yorkshire was set in stone after a week on the training ground, and he revealed the sense of anticipation among his squad as they head for the final throes of a dramatic campaign.
McAllister said: "I've got a shape and a system in my mind and it won't break much from what we've been doing before. I've got a starting line-up.
"We're fixed with the guys who are here. Ian Westlake's come back and Matty Heath's come back but they can go on holiday. We're using the same 18 or 19 players.
"We've got guys that are bursting to go – a nice mix of experience, young legs and good athletes. We arrive at this point of the season quite fresh.
"It's just a case of holding them back now. As you can imagine, they all want to be part of it."
