Southend midfielder Mark Gower is confident his side can get the result they need to overcome Doncaster in the second leg of their Coca-Cola League One play-off semi-final.
After a goalless draw in the first leg the tie is finely poised but the winger is sure the Shrimpers have the attacking edge to fire them to victory.
They now stand just two games away from an immediate return to the Championship and Gower believe
s that despite failing to take an advantage from the first game, they can still reach Wembley.
The 29-year-old said: "It was a hard game to sum up and although they had a lot of the ball they didn't have too many chances to score.
"They had the one where Jason Price went through and Darryl Flahavan did well to save it but that could have been cut out. Going forward I actually think we look the better side."
Gower added: "We always fancy ourselves to get a goal and if we can keep the ball a bit better and get it wide as well, like we normally do, then I think we're going to create more chances and hopefully have some joy."
Doncaster are likely to make life tough for the travelling side, packing the midfield and dominating possession, but Gower says his side will be looking to score an early goal to make their opponents re-think their game plan.
"We need to make sure we start well and if we score then I don't think they would pass it around as much," he said.
"Sometimes I think they pass it around just for the sake of it but if we take the lead then I think that would go out the window.
"The pressure would be on and I'm sure they would get it forward a lot earlier so that's something we're obviously looking to do."
Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll is looking forward to the clash and believes his side "are as ready as they can be" for the game.
O'Driscoll also believes the week between the two fixtures has helped a number of his players who have recovered from knocks in time for the return leg.
The Rovers boss said: "We've been ready, I think, for probably a few days now. At this time in the season, people just want to get it over and done with.
"With the week's break, it has helped with the few niggling injuries that we have got. It seems to have been a long time coming, but we are as ready as we'll ever be."
He added: "I thought Southend were a good side and playing at home, we knew it was going to be a difficult place to be. All week, we were prepared to be disciplined and organised and that is as much as you can do."
