Bantams boss Mac is wary of hot Shots

STUART McCALL feels Bradford City are there to be Shot at tomorrow – when they make the long trek south to face League Two newboys Aldershot Town.
Divisional big guns and promotion favourites City have made a flying start to the season, and boast a perfect three wins out of three so far.
But Bantams chief McCall has warned his men to be on their guard in Hampshire tomorrow, with memories of this time almost 12 months to the day firmly in mind.
Then, City faced another former non-league outfit in unfamiliar surroundings in Barnet at Underhill, with the Bees turning them over 2-1 thanks to Jason Puncheon's last-gasp goal.
And McCall is anxious his troops avoid another giant-slaying tomorrow against fired-up hosts, who amassed more than 100 points en route to the Blue Square Premier title last season.
McCall, whose side also slipped up to the likes of Accrington, Morecambe and Dagenham last term, said: "This time last year, we went down to Barnet and didn't know much about them and unfortunately went down.
"I know they saw us as a big scalp – as Aldershot also will – and we've got to make sure things don't happen in similar fashion and that lightning doesn't strike twice. And I've made the players aware of that.
"I've seen the reports from their game at Shrewsbury last week and they were very unlucky to lose out to a late goal at one of the favourites for promotion.
"It was a good performance apparently, and they'll certainly be up for it.
"They covered themselves in glory last season in winning their championship. They like to play with style by all accounts and have some talented ball-players and I'm sure it'll be a tough game, without a doubt."
It may be City's first trip to the Recreation Ground since February 1982 tomorrow, but they will encounter at least one familiar face in former loan star Ben Starosta.
The Sheffield United defender, on loan at City in the second half of last term – and who featured 15 times, making 12 starts – joined the Shots on a temporary basis with a view to a permanent deal just before the start of the season.
McCall said: "Ben did well here and got some experience. He's a good lad and it will be good to meet up again.
