Programme details revealed for Leeds Classical Fantasia

MUSIC lovers have been given a tantalising preview of the treats that await them at this year’s Classical Fantasia concert in Leeds.

As previously reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, stars such as Noah Stewart and Laura Wright will be performing at the concert in the grounds of Kirkstall Abbey next Saturday, September 6.

Now organisers at Leeds City Council have released details of the programme for the evening.

It includes Nessun Dorma and the overture from The Marriage of Figaro as well as favourites from much-loved musicals such as Oklahoma and West Side Story. The entertainment will also include a spectacular fireworks display.

Tickets for the concert are available from the www.leeds.gov.uk/fantasia website until midnight on Wednesday. They can also be purchased in person or over the phone from the Carriageworks on Millennium Square (0113 224 3801) or the visitor centre at Leeds City Station (0113 242 5242).
