First Direct Arena is about to mark a year of world class entertainment with the opening of its on-site ticket office.
The management team are delighted to announce the opening of its new permanent in-house ticket office.
The arena currently has a pop-up ticket office in Trinity Leeds shopping centre but will move to its new permanent home from Monday September 1 at the arena.
Ton Watson, sales and marketing director at the arena, said: “When we first started selling tickets, our focus was on completing the venue fit out six weeks ahead of schedule for the arrival of Bruce Springsteen, and Trinity Leeds provided the perfect pop-up solution.
“As the arena quarter continues to get busier and busier, feedback has been that our customers want to be able to visit the venue itself for their ticketing needs.
“We’re therefore pleased to announce our new in house full service ticket office, open six days a week.
“We’d like to thank our friends at Land Securities for their support and assistance at the city’s biggest and best shopping centre.”
Mr Watson said there was an exciting chance for those buying tickets to win a prize.
He added: “The new arena ticket office will offer an enhanced customer experience and, due to the increased number of serving points, the venue will be able to serve three times the number of customers an hour. This should make it much easier to grab a ticket for the big names who are visiting Leeds.”
To celebrate the opening of the new ticket office, the arena have launched an exciting competition.
The first 25 customers to purchase tickets after 10am on Monday September 1 will receive a special First Direct Arena black envelope, with the chance to win a range of exciting prizes from free pints of Fosters or Ice Cream, all the way to the ultimate VIP upgrade for a purchased performance.
