THE WOOLPACK has been the scene of many dramatic moments in the 44-year history of Yorkshire’s much-loved soap, Emmerdale.

Soon, viewers will be able to step inside the famous pub themselves as a new studio tour opens to the public.

We’ve been given a sneak preview of what lies in store for visitors to The Emmerdale Studio Experience.

The attraction at ITV’s Burley Road site in Leeds features full set reconstructions, including the Dingle family’s living room. Meanwhile, a miniature version of Emmerdale’s buildings offers the chance to stroll through the village in a matter of moments.

All manner of props and costumes will also be on display, alongside interactive experiences allowing guests to try their hand at TV making.

The tour will be operated by York-based Continuum Attractions, the team which is behind the hugely popular Coronation Street tour that generated more than £60m for Manchester’s economy in its 18-month run.
