MOST blushing brides might have been a bit put out if their new hubby refused to give them a traditional kiss on the big day.
But at just four years old, little Bobbi Jo Senior wasn't all that worried – she was more concerned with getting back to school for a party with her classmates.

Bobbi Jo took part in a mock wedding ceremony with groom Ethan Strong, five, a fellow pupil at Oyster Park Infant and Nursery School in Airedale, Castleford.

They were joined by a guest list of youngsters aged three-five from the school who have been learning about different celebrations, including Christian weddings and some parents and teachers dressed in their Sunday best.

Headteacher Mandy Reather, sporting her best wedding hat, told the YEP: "The children have been learning about all different types of celebrations including Remembrance Day and Diwali and also Christian weddings.

"We thought what better way to help them learn all about that than to get them out here and to bring it to life for them."

The wedding included a vintage white car, donated by Aristocratic Cars in Monk Fryston, which took the bride from her home to Airedale Methodist Church.

Then little Bobbi Jo made her way down the aisle with her bridesmaids where Deaconess Jenny Knight, who is also a governor at the school, performed a service.

When Ethan was asked if he'd like to give his new bride a quick kiss, he could only reply with a coy shake of his head.
