Miracle baby's parents thank Wakefield hospital

MIRACLE baby Clay Gibson and his family have started a fundraising campaign for the hospital that saved the youngster's life.
Clay Gibson contracted meningitis when he was just seven weeks old.
Staff at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield battled to save him and the five-month-old, is now in glowing health.
His parents Natalie and Carl are keen to say an extra special thank you to staff at the hospital and hit on the idea of fundraising.
A fun evening to raise money for Pinderfields will be held at the Henry Boon pub in Westgate, Wakefield tonight.

Clay's dad Carl, 26, said: "How do you say thank you to someone for saving your son's life?
"We just want to give something back to the fantastic doctors and nurses who helped us through such a difficult time.
"We owe so much to them."
Clay was rushed to hospital when his mum Natalie couldn't wake him to feed him.
When his temperature began to rise, the couple rushed the baby to hospital.
Quick-thinking medics immediately spotted the signs of meningitis.
Tonight's fundraiser includes a magician, a DJ, a raffle of prizes donated by local businesses and much more.
