I'd like to lay flowers and have a florist in Leeds lined up but won't if the protest is hijacked by Bates. I will never support him. I won't be used by him. I think the protest needed clearer leadership at the outset. Some people are confused, hence Bates being able to see this as offering him encouragement. As I see it the protest is against everyone who has dragged us down and is saying we've had enough. We're saying don't ignore us, we won't go silently! That needs to be spelt out.

The Supporters Trust has had almost nothing to do with organising what is in truth a fans grass roots initiative. The Trust is offering to take delivery of flowers where a florist insists on a signature of receipt and to ensure that these flowers are added to the rest of the fans display at Bremner corner.
Whilst this is clearly lending assistance and supporting this initiative it is not to claim this outpouring of feeling as being organised by the supporters Trust. No such organisation was needed for this spontaneous action by the wider body of Leeds supporters. Full credit is properly theirs and is not properly the Trusts.

How can Ken Bates look himself in the mirror each morning. It's time for him to retire to his Monaco home and leave football to those who can rescue our Leeds United from the depths of despair.
The protest is just that...a protest against Bates and his ilk!!!
