A pink tank stormed the streets of Leeds to declare a festive price war.
The tank was part of a marketing campaign launched by outlet shopping village Junction 32 in Castleford, to wage war on rival shopping centre The White Rose.

After spending the morning parked up on White Rose territory, the tank turned heads while crawling though the city centre, at one point even stopping off at the iconic Queens Hotel for a cheeky photo shoot.

Chris Bennett, a local onlooker, said "It's not every day that you see a tank driving through Leeds, let alone a pink one. I was shocked at first but once I realised what it was for, it made me chuckle!

"It certainly brought to my attention the bargains to be had by venturing that little bit further out of town."
