The Yorkshire Evening Post is set to give users of its website the fright of their lives this summer as we go .
In a website first, we are launching an exclusive series of ghost investigations lifting the lid on some of the city's best know buildings - and the ghostly goings-on at each of them.

The series starts this Friday at www.yorkshireeveninpost.co.uk but you can see a sneak preview of episode one - which is an investigation at the Victorian prison cells beneath Leeds Town Hall - by clicking the green play button on the right.

The ghost-hunting team is made up of television medium Barrie John - who has appeared on Most Haunted - paranormal investigator Lynne Robinson, YEP writers Debbie Leigh and Grant Woodward together with YEP advertising manager Nicola Atkinson.

Series producer Geoff Fox said: "Haunted Leeds is groundbreaking for us in every sense. These are fully fledged web-programmes that well and truly lift the lid on some of Leeds' spookiest buildings.

"The series kicks off with the team at the prison cells at Leeds Town Hall and believe me, after seeing the footage, you'll never walk up the steps to the building in the same way again!"

Hanted Leeds launches on Friday, August 15.
