Andy Murray believes Wimbledon will provide an inspirational setting for Great Britain's Davis Cup tie against Austria.
The All England Club hosts the World Group relegation play-off, which opened when Alex Bogdanovic met Jurgen Melzer on Court One today.
Murray faces Alexander Peya in the second rubber and the US Open finalist, ranked fourth in the world, insists he is eager to return to SW19.
"There will be great support with 9,000 expected to come each day so I'll have to play really well," said Murray.
"I've played some of my best matches at Wimbledon. The match against Richard Gasquet this year was pretty special, coming back from two sets down.
"The support that I've had in previous years against guys like Andy Roddick and David Nalbandian has made this a special place for me.
"Wimbledon is the most prestigious venue in the world and I'm really excited about playing here."
Bogdanovic has never progressed beyond the first round at Wimbledon in seven visits.
But he said that he is undaunted at facing a player 121 places higher in the world rankings at 41.
