OTLEY'S runaway start to the season has evaporated with the side losing their place at the top of Division One of the Kall-Kwik League.
The 2-1 defeat inflicted by Moortown sees Otley in third place with 56 points.

Harrogate Squash are the new leaders (59 points) with Harlow second on 57.

Moortown's Ian Cawthorne, pictured left, and Francis Nelson were the two victors with Robin Worley taking Otley's lone rubber with a 9-2 9-1 8-10 2-9 10-8 scoreline.

Meanwhile, Garforth, whose future in the league was threatened by a lack of players last week, were beaten 2-1 by Chapel Allerton.

Notching the Garforth rubber in the match was Neil Thackery, who defeated Paul Stroud 9-5 4-9 9-3 2-9 9-5.

Garforth skipper Alex Tate lost to Adam Hannath 4-9 9-7 1-9 10-8 1-9 while Darren Taffe went down 9-4 5-9 3-9 3-9 to Ben Thornton.

In the Yorkshire Premiership, Chapel Allerton II defeated Harrogate 3-2, Wigginton hammered Hallamshire 5-0 while Chapel Allerton's first team overcame Queen's, Halifax 4-1
