Big names head to county

Leading squash players will be taking centre stage when a new tournament is held in Yorkshire on October 4 and 5.
The North East Area Championships, covering Yorkshire, Durham and Cleveland and Northumberland, will be held jointly at Chapel Allerton and Pontefract Squash clubs.

The National Squash Week will run from September 29 to October 5.
It gives a chance not only to promote the sport but to help a good cause.
Whiz Kidsz, which provides wheelchairs for disabled youngsters, will benefit from sponsored matches and exhibition clashes across the country with Yorkshire putting its shoulder to the wheel again.
Last year thousands of pounds was raised and players now aim to repeat the success.
Seedings have yet to be announced but Yorkshire will certainly be at the forefront for honours.

A Leeds coach looks set to defend his title in the National Racketball Championships being held at Chapel Allerton Squash Club for the fifth season.
Neil Guirey who helped Chapel to win the Yorkshire Premiership, again looks favourite to take the main event.
