Andy Murray admitted he was beaten by the better man after seeing his 14-match winning streak ended by David Nalbandian in the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters yesterday.
Murray has played the best tennis of his life recently but came up short against the reigning champion, who continued his own sensational form of late to claim a 7-6 (7/3) 6-3 victory in the French capital.

"I'm obviously disappointed to lose," said the British number one. "But I'm glad that I played against a guy as good as him and that it took him playing a great match to beat me. I thought both of us hit the ball well. He probably returned better than me and created a few more chances."
