The 12-year-old has smashed 62 goals in just 18 games to help his side finish fifth, and he is now heading to Manchester City's Academy for trials.
Manager Gary Boniface, who has been involved with the club for five years, told Seacroft Today: "He's been with us about a year-and-a-half and he has scored most of the goals – he has scored 62 and he has only played 18 games.
"It's brilliant – he is averaging around three goals a game."
Whinmoor used to be so bad that they once scored just two goals in a whole season but now their coach is lapping up the new-found success.
"It's a great feeling as usually we have teams coming here to have a laugh at us," added Boniface. "They come here and they win 25-0.
"This season, other teams have been talking about us because they are worried about us. They have been saying 'we'll have to stick two people on Piteu and stick to him like glue'.
"Hopefully, next season we will be moving up and moving on to the A League."
