Club secretary Robin Cartwright is appealing for more players at all age groups - especially any players who will be in school years 5 and year 6 next year.

Mr Cartwright said: "The club is also on the lookout for enthusastic adults to help out, from coaching & refereeing to transport, as well as the really important jobs like putting the nets up!"

Anyone interested are asked to get in touch with the club through the website at: www.whinmoorjuniors.co.uk

The club will lead a nomadic existence this season as their pitch is being dug up to improve the drainage, meaning that some of the teams won't be able to play at their Skelton Woods ground on Naburn Approach, and will be playing at places such as Temple Newsam, Cross Gates and Roundhay Park.
