Tag rugby is a minimal contact version of rugby, with tackles made by removing one of the Velcro 'tags' attached to a player's waist. The focus is on ball-handling skills, creativity and teamwork.
New to the festival this year were games between five teams from across the North of England battling it out for the chance to play at Twickenham in the build-up to England's international against the Pacific Islands on November 8.
Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Carnegie players attended the festival which was organised by Leeds City Council's sport development unit, the Rugby Football Union, Rugby Football League and Leeds Rugby Foundation.
