Tinkerman Clark to make more changes

HUDDERSFIELD boss Lee Clark is set to make changes again after a goalless draw at struggling Brighton was not enough to take his side into the League Two play-off places.

Clark dropped top scorer Jordan Rhodes to the bench in favour of Robbie Simpson while also recalling Robbie Williams, and intends to draft in other players as Town bid to re-affirm their promotion bid.

He said: "No gauntlet has been thrown down to Jordan, but he did look a bit jaded against Carlisle.

"I wanted to freshen things up. There were some disappointed boys in the dressing room who didn`t contribute in this game, but from now on, they'll be changes in personnel."

Anthony Pilkington came closest for Town and nearly clinched the points with a tremendous 40 yard shot which cannoned back off the crossbar 11 minutes from time.

Pilkington should have hit the target 10 minutes before the break when, from a free kick from Daniel Drinkwater, he fired over from six yards.
