Competition: Garforth Junior football League, U-12's, Divison 4.

The last League game of the season and Temple needed just a draw to consolidate their 4th place in the League Table and cap a fine first season.

Sadly, a first-half totally undisciplined display conceded three goals to very poor opposition and saw Temple drop places in the final League standings.

Temple started the first half brightly and for 10 minutes never let Glen out of their own half.

But over-eagerness to score broke the team shape and 4-4-2 soon turned to 4-0-6 leaving gaps in the centre of the field which the opposition exploited. Half-time 3-0 to Glen.

A spirited revival by some Temple players pulled the scoreline back to a respectable 3-2, with a tap-in goal from Tank Wooffitt and 'a cracker' from Charlie Jenkin.

A penalty appeal for a foul in the area on a rampant Jack Cooling was denied and Glen desperately hung on to win what should have been a simple formality for Temple.

Temple goalscorers: Tank Wooffitt, Charlie Jenkin.

Temple star player: Ryan McGregor

* The season proved a successful one for Temple U-12s with a respectable mid-table position and the club achieving Charter Standard status in it's first year.
