Snooker fans can see the world’s top snooker stars play for free next week in Barnsley.
Judd Trump, Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, Shaun Murphy, John Higgins and Jimmy White will be among the top snooker players competing in the International Championship qualifiers in South Yorkshire.
The qualifying round of the £657,000 world ranking event will take place at the Barnsley Metrodome from Wednesday September 30 to Saturday October 3.
The winners will go through to the final stages in Daqing, China, to compete for the £125,000 top prize.
Fans can turn up on the day and gain access to the arena, with no need to book tickets.
Yorkshire interest sees Leeds potters Sanderson Lam, father and son Peter and Oliver Lines, and David Grace in action.
Other county players include Doncaster’s Ian Glover, Sheffield duo Adam Duffy and Joel Walker, Keighley’s Chris Melling and Paul Davison, from Pickering, North Yorkshire.
World No 1 Selby takes on Scotland’s Eden Sharav on Wednesday. Thursday’s top matches include Masters champion Murphy against China’s Lyu Chenwei.
Neil Robertson takes on Kuldesh Johan on Friday, while Saturday’s battles include Whirlwind Jimmy White against Rod Lawler, four-time World Champion John Higgins against Ashley Hugill and Judd Trump against Michael Wild.
Session times on each day are 9.30am, 2.30pm and 7.30pm, with all matches best of 11 frames.
