Super League hopefuls Featherstone Rovers have received a “significant six-figure” investment after Probiz founder Feisal Nahaboo agreed terms to become the club’s major shareholder.

Nahaboo is a former main backer of Castleford Tigers and Probiz also sponsor Blackburn Rovers FC and have an involvement at Wigan Warriors, as well as several other football and cricket clubs.

The cash injection – understood to be several hundred thousand pounds – will be used for developing Rovers’ Big Fellas Stadium, strengthening the squad and expanding the club’s youth development structures.
