YOUR MESSAGES OF CONGRATULATIONS
Well Done Rhinos. Lee Smith for England.
Marching On Together! What a fantastic display.Well done to Bluey & The Boyz for creating a piece of history.
Rick,Lorrell & Leah.
What a fantastic performance!
It was great to see a team based mainly on local boys, with a bit of Aussie & New Zealand spice, representing their home city with such pride and distinction.
Kevin Sinfield may not be a Leeds lad but can there be a finer sporting role model anywhere in the country?
This really was as good as it gets, well done lads!
Congratulations boys, unbelievable performance from everyone - special mention has to go to JP though, dont think I've ever seen any player put in more effort in one game, enjoy the rest - the Aussies are waiting to get more of the same treatment.
Unfortunately I could not make the journey from Spain this year to watch the Final, I am on crutches with a broken foot.
I along with many did not expect what happened.
Unbelievable, the looks on the Saints players and supporters faces was to behold!
I went to the 1961 Final (first Championship win) That was great, last year at the time was the best, this year just superb.
Thanks lads, I was banging my crutches together as loud as possible, I have now watched it about 15 times.
Fantastic, Good luck to Gazza and Nick Scruton.
Bring on Manly!!
Marshall, Javea, Spain
Just wanted to send a quick email of "Thanks" and "Well Done".
I proposed to my girlfriend live on Sky Sports News / Sky News at Old Trafford on the morning of the Grand Final. We had an amazing day all topped off by the Rhinos winning. A perfect end to a perfect day.
The Rhinos bringing the cup back to Leeds was the icing on the cake for us both.
A fantastic job by all!
Congratulations to the Rhinos team.It was a fantastic game to watch.
From the Taylor family
Dear Leeds Rhinos
May I take this moment and congratulate the Leeds Rhinos on winning the Super League trophy back-to-back and going into the history books as the only Super League team no other Super League team can say they have done this.
Brian McClennan should now be made a True Leeds Loiner for the good luck that he has brought to Headingley since he took over from Tony Smith ie. (THE SUPER LEAGUE TROPHY ).
I hope that the BBC acknowledge LEEDS RHINOS AS THE TEAM OF THE YEAR at the SPORTS REVIEW OF 2008.
Also may I say good luck and all the best to Gareth Ellis when he leaves LEEDS to play in Australia Next Year
If there are any St Helens Fans reading this sorry but the best team won on the day.
And to any other super League coaches out there that said the Leeds Rhinos would not win against St Helens I hope they were eating their words after the match that we won 24-16.
Long may they bring the trophies back to Headingley. Up the Rhinos
Mr Duffy & Family
Magnificent Rhinos… You well and truly showed them Saints….
Your fans were 110% behind you.
Enjoy the celebrating
Corinne - Leeds
Congratulations to all the team, you did us proud. Hope we are underdogs next year!!!
Lee Smith was outstanding and filled Brent Webb's boots perfectly.
Thank for a great year, good luck to Ellis, Toopi and Tansey for the future.
Looking forward to seeing you England boys in OZ.
Malcolm & Glynis Hayes, Leeds
Massive Rhinos fan from Australia, very proud. Lee Smith for England.
Well done Guys!
This was the most amazing performance in many years and a real pleasure to watch. Every man out there played for each other and their club to make history once again. It must have been a nightmare choosing Man of Match, but well done Lee you made a massive difference and that 40/20 was a blinder ! As for the coaching - well it speaks for itself, Genius thanks Bluey. Congratulations to you all on a hard fought win and thank you so much for giving Leeds something to be proud of.
Well done, you were magnificent.
Well done lads you did what every "expert" said you couldn't and wouldn't do!
To a man you stood up and showed the heart and spirit of champions.
Good luck Gaz Ellis, Scroots, Ben Kaye, Tansey and Clinton thanks for your efforts in the blue and amber!
Champions and Legends everyone of you!
Mark Stephenson, Headingley
Congratulations to all at Leeds Rhinos, pride and commitment shone through in difficult weather conditions, best birthday present I could have had.
Mrs Marilyn Dwyer of Bishopthorpe, York (who has supported Leeds for 50 years)
So proud of the team, was there yesterday and it really was a fantastic occasion. Great for the city of Leeds too, we should all be proud of what they've achieved. Also nice to shut the Saints fans up who were convinced they'd hammer us! Leeds, Leeds, Leeds....................
Well done Rhinos. Everyone wrote you off but you showed why we are champions.
Loved it singing Marching on Together as the Saint fans walked out of the ground.
Well done Leeds a fantastic game.
Ian, Kerry, Chloe & Sophie
The match was fantastic! Great game for Lee Smith. All the lads played really well, they deserved the win.
Come on you Rhinos!!
Congratulations Leeds Rhinos on your Super League Grand Final victory.
Sinfield did us proud with a great captain's performance and an excellent kicking game.
Smith also did Leeds proud with the best full back performance in a Grand Final
Well done lads!!!!
I've seen all 6 and this was the BEST one of the lot.
The team took total control and all I can say is thank you for making it a superb weekend.
Well done super Leeds from the Sunleys in Perth AUSTRALIA.
I would like to take this opportunity to say on behalf of Leeds Rhinos fan how well Lee Smith played. He filled Brent Webb's place and earned the man of match award.
Good luck lads for next year.
Emma Louise, Dewsbury
Absolute legendary performance lads! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
And it's even better the second time!
Written off, no hopers, no chance. What do they know?
All the guys were fantastic, with Smithy playing the game of his life at full back - but it was the engine room up front that won it.
A credit to the famous shirt and the city.
Simon & Mark Whitehead, Adel, Leeds
