BOYBAND UNION J brought the X Factor to Headingley when they performed before Leeds Rhinos’ winning game against Wakefield Wildcats.

The band, who had a top 10 album following their stint on the ITV talent show, followed in the footsteps of another former X Factor star, Olly Murs, to perform on a match day as part of a range of family-friendly initiatives.

Rhinos’ head of marketing Abigail Furniss said: “It was a really fantastic family day. We had lots of other family entertainment on before the match, but it was topped off with a fantastic performance from them. They did a meet and greet for fans afterwards and were fantastic guys.”
