McGuire missed last week’s round-one loss at St Helens due to a quad injury suffered in the pre-season win over Hull KR on January 20, but coach Brian McDermott has confirmed he will return tomorrow. Jack Ormondroyd, who has yet to make his Super League debut and Josh Walters are also vying for a call-up after playing on dual-registration for Featherstone Rovers in their opening two Kingstone Press Championship fixtures. Jordan Baldwinson drops out and McDermott said Joel Moon will be sidelined due to concussion.

Leigh could give debuts to Australian forward Lachlan Burr and French international Antoni Maria. Others in line for a first Leigh appearance of the season are Willie Tonga, Mickey Higham, Ben Reynolds, Sam Hopkins and Jamie Acton. Burr, Hopkins and Acton played on dual-registration for Sheffield Eagles in their Championship win over Toulouse Olympique last week.

Liam Hood and Glenn Stewart are injured and Martyn Ridyard, James Green and Dayne Weston also drop out from the team beaten at Castleford a week ago.
