CENTRE JOEL Moon (concussion) and prop Mitch Garbutt (illness) could return for Leeds Rhinos in tonight’s home game against Salford Red Devils, after missing the win at Leigh Centurions a week ago.
Brett Delaney is set to make his return from foot and knee injuries on dual-registration with Featherstone Rovers on Sunday so only Brett Ferres (groin) and Keith Galloway (Achilles) remain on Rhinos’ casualty list.
Salford will be forced into at least one change after former Castleford Tigers winger Justin Carney was banned for two games for making physical contact with referee James Child in last week’s win at Huddersfield Giants. He denied the charge, but was found guilty by an RFL disciplinary panel.
Jake Bibby, Kriss Brining and Ryan Lannon are all vying for a call into Salford’s matchday squad. Salford will also be without star signing Todd Carney. The Australian former Catalans Dragons stand-off linked up with his new team-mates last weekend and has been training with Salford’s first-team squad.
But he has not been included in tonight’s 19-man pool of players.
