Leeds Rhinos will again be without captain Kevin Sinfield, veteran prop Kylie Leuluai and winger Tom Briscoe when they face Catalans Dragons in Perpignan on Saturday.

Sinfield, who needs just three points for a career total of 4,000, will sit out a second successive game due to a hamstring problem.

Leuluai, who also missed last Friday’s win over Wigan Warriors, has not yet recovered from a damaged rib.

Winger Tom Briscoe is due to undergo shoulder surgery on Saturday and is likely to be sidelined for three months.

But Rhinos will welcome back forward Mitch Achurch, after a two-game lay-off due to a knee problem and Josh Walters is also in contention.

Rob Burrow needs three points to reach 1,000 for Leeds.

Danny McGuire, who is set to continue as captain, needs 11 points to bring up 1,000 for the club and four tries to reach 250 for Leeds.

Brian McDermott.
