Leeds Rhinos’ Ladbrokes Challenge Cup-winning captain Kevin Sinfield took time out from the club’s post-Wembley training schedule to meet his soon-to-be new team-mates at Headingley-based sister club Yorkshire Carnegie yesterday.

Bryan Redpath’s side were unveiling their new kit for the 2015-16 Championship season, which they launch with a home match against Jersey on Sunday.

But Leeds’ most successful captain will not complete his switch from the 13-a-side to 15-a-side code until November - after his Rhinos obligations are complete.

The Oldham-born player will be hoping that will be with a record-breaking seventh victory in the Grand Final at Old Trafford next month.

Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Jordan Baldwinson hold Anthony Gelling.
